While Lisa lives in California and Reine lives in New Orleans, they’re as close as two cousins can be, most recently planning cooking and writing tours. They get together frequently to cook with each other, try out new recipes, travel, and explore different cuisines. Lisa is the primary cook in this duo and is the founder of Estolia’s Food Products.  She is working with Williams Sonoma and local food stores in Louisiana and California.

Reine is an English professor by day, and a writer and foodie as well. She’s taken students to Italy, the Czech Republic, and Ireland for more than a decade with study abroad programs. She’s published scholarly articles, fiction and nonfiction pieces, as well as edited a book of essays. She’s also been a feature food writer for Emeril Lagasse’s website, Emerils.com, and has given presentations on the slow food movement and the small plate culture in Italy on food panels at conferences
